He is responsible for introducing Skoal and a "Post Game Victory Junk" to the dressing room.   He is also known for his unparalleled work ethic and competitve nature. He & Jason Schmidt are usually the first two players to take the ice each game, ready to take one of Heath Miller's famous warm-ups.   "Junk" rarely loses a battle for a loose puck, and he has some of the softest hands on the team.. but they serve him much better with a golf club in his hands. He is a very skilled golfer, and has four career hole-in ones to his credit, but sometimes on the golf course his competitive nature can get the best of him... After ripping a 210 yard shot across water in front of the green, to withing 20 feet of a well protected pin, Jeff threw his pitching wedge into a tree breaking it, and yelling.
